RLES is a non-profit organization that aims to
ensure that all ventures at Ras Laffan adopt
environmental best practice andmaintain the
highest health standards in their operations.

RLICCOP is an industry-led initiative focused
on ensuring a two-way engagement process
with the community, allowing for collective
innovation anddecision-making.

development inUAE, helping concerned
authorities to increase the level of
public awareness on all local andglobal
environmental issues.

followsall local lawsand
regulations relating tohuman

operates, and itsmultinational
shareholder structure informs

All DolphinEnergy
employees are granted
intranet access to the
corporateHumanResources
(HR)Manual and its
corresponding sections
concerning human rights.
To ensure the fair treatment
of employees and tomaintain
communication regarding
any reported violations of
human rights occur, the
company has implemented a
grievanceprocesswhereby
employees or concerned
individuals from thepublic
can communicate their
complaints or concerns
to theHRdepartment,
verbally or inwriting.
TheHRdepartment in
turn communicates such
complaints to the relevant
company divisionor
department for investigation.
DolphinEnergy neither
condones nor permits
compulsory or child labor,
andno instances of either
practice havebeen reported.
DolphinEnergy has never
engaged in thepractice
of retaining employees’
passports during theperiod
of employment.
DolphinEnergy’s internal
anti-discriminationpolicy is
governed andmonitoredby
itsHRdepartment. During
2011no incidents involving
allegeddiscriminationon
thebasis of race, color, sex,
religion, political opinion,
nationality, or social origin
havebeen reported.
DolphinEnergy’s agreements
with its contractors also
address human rights issues.
Whenworkingwith service
contractors, particular
conditions outliningworking
terms and conditions
are issued.
