Program (COP) aims to
create a common community
support framework for the
NorthCommunityArea
surroundingRas Laffan
Industrial Zone. This
includes, but is not limited
to communities inSumaisma,
Al Khor, andAl Shamal. The
COPproactively promotes
initiatives designed tobenefit
the communities, focusingon
education, capacity building,
culture and tradition, and
the environment.
Tomaximize the impact of
theCOP, the LivingEarth
Foundation (LEF) was
engaged to address and
advise theCOPmembers on
stakeholder engagement and
significant emerging issues.
The LEF also highlighted
opportunities for local
workforcedevelopment and
potential COPprojects in line
with theQatar National Vision
2030. Several operating
procedures alongwith aCOP
management planwere also
deliveredby the LEF.
DolphinEnergy believes
in strategic community
engagement as amethod
to support and contribute
to the social fabric of the
communities inwhich the
company operates. As a
result, the company has set
a 2012goal to refine and
expand itsSustainability
Strategy. This expanded
strategy, will mature and
shapeDolphinEnergy’s
performance and community
development efforts in the
coming years.
DolphinEnergy is proud

engagements. This section
provides a sample of the
entities andorganizations
that DolphinEnergy has
supported, including
highlights of the initiatives
andprograms inbothQatar
and theUAE.
In 2011, DolphinEnergy ran
a special donationprogram
at theQatarMastersGolf
Tournament. Featuring some
of theworld’s best players,
DolphinEnergy donated
QAR50, QAR 500, andQAR
5000 for every birdie, eagle,
or albatross (respectively)
scoredby the golfers over
the four day event. This
campaign raisedover
QAR66,250 in charitable
donations – a sum that
was nearly doubled toQAR
127,400 as the result of a
managerial decision. Dolphin
Energy’s donations at the
QatarMastersweremade
to theShafallahCenter for
ChildrenwithSpecial Needs.
