PromotingRenewable
EnergyEducation
for thenext generation
With a pivotal role toplay in
bridging the gapbetween
traditional sources of energy
to a futurewhere new forms
of energy providepractical
solutions, Dolphin’s natural
gas is helping theUAE to
chart the transition to a
low carbon economy. The
company is also an active
supporter of programs that are
helping the next generation
tounderstand – through
education and fostering talent
– the role that renewable
energywill play in the future.
Aside fromproviding the
world’s cleanest fossil fuel

energy requirements every

alsopledged its support for
theYoungFutureEnergy
LeadersProgram (YFEL),
thus complementing its
commitments by helping to
develop tomorrow’s leaders
for the renewable
energy industry.
Runby theMasdar Institute
of Science andTechnology,
YFEL is aprogram that
encourages students to learn
about the renewable energy
initiatives beingundertaken in
AbuDhabi and the challenges
associatedwith
climate change.
TheProgram ran in
conjunctionwith this year’s
WorldFutureEnergySummit
(WFES) andurgedparticipants
todebate future energy issues
andnetworkwith important
and influential representatives
from the sector.
In 2010, DolphinEnergy
providedAED300,000 to
support YFEL. Todate,

policy and technical
courses planned for 2011
and 2012 (this has been
developed in conjunction
with leading international
