As nations and countries around theworld transition to low-carbon
economies, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions related to climate change
are receiving increased attention. DolphinEnergy is committed to reducing
its emissions tobe amongst the cleanest suppliers of fossil fuels.
Themost significant GHG emissions are generated from combustion
of fuel gas for processing, flaring and venting. Other GHG emissions
are generated from the use of importedpower, truck emissions from
the transfer of granulated sulfur and vehicle emissions frombusiness-
related travel. Dolphin successfully decreased itsGHG emissions output
in 2010by 9%, emitting 3,040,646 tons; themajority of this decrease is
attributed to reduced flaring achievedduring the year. Due to inaccurate
data reportedonpower andpetrol consumption in the 2009Sustainability
Report, numbers havebeen re-stated in this report, affectingGHG totals
for previous years.
