DolphinEnergy also seeks to further reduce the impact of itsmain
product by optimizing and capturing theby-products of theproduction
process. This not only dramatically reduceswaste, but providesmultiple
additional lines of revenue. Theby-products are separated, processed
andoptimized for distribution.
Themainby-products optimized include condensate, LPG (propane and
butane), ethane and sulfur. Propane andButanedatabelow excludes
exports toRas LaffanOlefinCompany (RLOC).
Although routinemaintenanceprograms inDolphinEnergy’s facilities
were conductedduring 2010 –which requires the reduction innatural
gas supply to customers by up tohalf for several days per year (to
yieldonly 1BCFper day) – gas production rosemarginally to reach a
target yieldof 730billion cubic feet.
Productionoutputs for ethane,
propane, butane, sulfur and condensate remained consistent with 2009
production levels.
