This isDolphinEnergy’s third sustainability report, reportingonperformance in the year 2011. It alsoprovides comparative information for 2010, 2009, and2008
wherepossible.
Process for defining report content
This report focuses onDolphinEnergy’s priority areas, whichwere identified through aprocess incorporatingGRI’s principles and the IPIECA/API reporting
guidelines for defining report content, including:
DolphinEnergy believes the report covers all major issues that reflect DolphinEnergy’s significant economic, environmental and social
impacts, or the issues that would substantively influence the assessments anddecisionsmadeby its stakeholders.
DolphinEnergy has identified and considered all key stakeholders, and has outlined how the company engages them, identifies their
priorities, and responds.
DolphinEnergy has consideredglobal trends in sustainability for the oil andgas sector, andhas also taken into account the regional
and local contexts of its operations.
DolphinEnergy has attempted tomake this report as completeaspossible. The report pertains toDolphinEnergy’s 2011performance,
coveringall itsoperations in theUnitedArabEmirates andQatar unless statedotherwise. Therearenoexcludedoperations.
DolphinEnergywill report on its sustainability progress annually.
