DolphinEnergy started receiving, compressing and exporting to
UAE3rdparty gas fromQatar Petroleum (QP) inOctober 2009.
Thephase 1of the InterimPipingModification toThirdPartyGas
ReceivingFacilities project was successfully commissioned in
November 2010.
TheEthaneCracker plant of Ras LaffanOlefinCompany (RLOC)
started to import ethane fromDolphin andAl Khaleej Gas in
May 2010 andDolphinEnergy started to receive andprocessmixed
LPG fromRLOC inSeptember 2010.
Phase 2of theCommon LowSulfur CondensateStorage
andExport Facilities project operatedbyDolphinEnergywas
commissioned successfullywith two new tanks put inoperation
duringMay 2010, and the constructionof another tankwas
then started.
Significant Operational Achievements in 2010
Dolphingas produced inQatar arrives at the company’s
TaweelahReceivingFacility inAbuDhabi, UAE.
The TFP is a 48 inch, 244 kmgas pipeline that
takes natural gas fromTaweelah across the country
topower anddesalinationplants inFujairah.
TheGasProcessing andCompressionPlant at Qatar’s
Ras Laffan Industrial City, the largest singlebuildplant
in theworld, is central toDolphin’s activities.
DolphinEnergy entered thebusiness of gas supply in
January 2004, when the company commissioned the natural
gas pipeline that connectsAl Ainwith the emirate of Fujairah.
