development, DolphinEnergy

Energy paid nearlyUSD85
million in salaries alone, and
an additional USD 88million
inbenefits and allowances.
The company has achieved
higher-than-industry averages
to support the nationalization
of itsworkforce in eachof
its operating countries, with
48%Emiratization and 31%
Qatarization in 2011. Dolphin
Energy also contributed
over USD 5.5million in
community investments in
2011, an82% increase over
2010 contributions.
Environmentally, Dolphin
Energy has beenworking
aggressively to reduce its
environmental footprint
through the adoptionof
proactive approaches, policies,
andprocedures.With this
can-do attitude, in 2011 the
companywas able to reduce
its flaring andgreenhouse
gas (GHG) emissions by
26% and 4.7%, respectively.
Furthermore, throughDolphin
Energy’s internal recycling
program, a 39% increase in
tons of recycledmaterialswas
recorded, zero reportable spills
of any kindoccurred, andover
USD 9.5millionwas spent on
environmental protection
in 2011.
