Government
DolphinEnergy is a strategic energy project initiated and
sharedby the governments of Qatar andAbuDhabi. In2001,
aDevelopment andProductionSharingAgreement (DPSA) was
signed toproduce, process, and supply substantial quantities
of natural gas fromoffshoreQatar to theUnitedArabEmirates
andOmanover the following 25 years.

Society
Societal stakeholders are categorizedwithin two levels.
First are the economies and societies of UAE andQatar,
including communities located alongside facilities or
pipelines, such as theRas Laffan community. Second are
local stakeholder groups such as theAbuDhabi Sustainability
Group, Ras LaffanEnvironmental Association (RLEA), Emirates
Environmental Group, andEmiratesWildlifeSociety, aswell as
global and regional non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
