Abu Dhabi, UAE, 21st May, 2014: Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation Limited today announced it has received the Crystal Award in the category of 'Support for Training and Development' at the Qatar Petroleum 2013 Annual Qatarization Review Meeting for the second year running.
Taking place at the St. Regis Hotel on 19th May 2014, the event was attended by Mr. Mohammed Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, Deputy General Manager, Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation who received the award from H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry and H.E. Dr. Issa Saad Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Administrative Development in Qatar.
Commenting on this achievement, Mr Adel Ahmed Albuainain, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation , said: “To win the award two years running is phenomenal and represents a great achievement. Maintaining the levels so that we won the award again demonstrates enormous commitment and dedication. Our training and development teams have worked extremely hard to enhance our offering for our national employees and provide tangible opportunities for career development. The QP Qatarization Award criteria is based on five categories: Support and Liaison with the Education Sector, Supporting Qatarization, Support for Training and Development, Supporting Student Sponsorships and Best Qatarization Progress. One additional Crystal Award, the Partnership Award of Appreciation, is dedicated to educational institutions supporting the energy sector.
Receiving the prestigious award for the second consecutive year is testament to Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation ’s strong commitment and dedication towards Qatarization and human development as one of the key pillars of the National Vision 2030.
