Abu Dhabi, UAE, 21st May, 2013: Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation Qatar today announced it has received the top award in the category of 'Support for Training and Development' at the Qatar Petroleum 2012 Annual Qatarization Review Meeting. The event took place at St. Regis Hotel on 20th May 2013 and more than 43 companies in Oil and Gas Sector participated in the event.
Mr. Adel Ahmed Albuainain, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation , Qatar, received the QP Crystal Award from H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry in the State of Qatar.
This is the first time that Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation has received the prestigious award in relation to QP Annual Qatarization Award. Last year the company received the Certificate of Appreciation for the Most Improved Company in Training and Development.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Albuainain, said: “This is a proud moment in our history and winning the award reflects the company's commitment and dedication to offering Qataris meaningful training and development opportunities with Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation . Winning the certificate of appreciation in 2012 was just the start for us and we will now work even harder in the months and years ahead to enhance our Qatarization program, develop young talented Qataris and support the strategy behind the Qatar Vision 2030 in the process."
